Bio

In December of 2010, Nate and Kevin shared a 12 pack of Miller High Life and an invite was extended to jam a little at Nate's weekly show at Shakespeare's Pub.
A few weeks later, KG took Nate up on the offer and within the first 2 songs they played together, both agreed they had something going.
Adopting the name "Every Thursday", they would come together on the aforementioned day and provide high-energy, forget your troubles music for drunken college kids on 6th Street.
"Every Thursday" started playing on Mondays, and Tuesdays, etc. so a name change was called for. Loving the free, jam style of their shows, they took the name "Horseshoes & Hand Grenades". Close Always Counts became their mantra and that stays true to this exact minute.
With influences ranging from Blues Traveler, Neil Young, 90's Pop-Culture, Applebee's, Brett Dennen, Robert Earl Keen, and Notorious B.I.G. the ability to classify their music is a task upon itself.
A two-man acoustic duo that can play the role of a full-band isn't something you see all the time. Horseshoes & Hand Grenades have played every venue imaginable, and they never disappoint.
