Horses on fire was formed in 2008 by Thijs 'Tace' De Cloedt.
Thijs is the former guitarist and songwriter of the Belgian band Aborted, one of the leading european deathmetal acts.
Thijs made three albums and toured all over Europe, the united states and Israel.
After six years Thijs felt like he reached the musical boundaries of the genre, and his all time love for rock made him decide to part ways with Aborted, time for a new challenge, time for a new band. Horses on Fire.
After a year of rehearsing and working on their music, Horses on Fire recorded their first EP in October 2008 at the Red Tape Studios.
They will be releasing their debut album, produced by Ian Clement (Wallace Vanborn) in February 2012.
