"I listened to the CD. Pretty cool stuff! It's ready for Rock radio! I was very impressed with these guys!"--
- Eddie Trunk, deejay on Q-104-FM's 'Friday Night Rocks"

Not bad! Not bad at all! I have to say very impressive!Ó-- - Matt Murray, deejay on WDHA-FM

"It's pretty apparent that this band won't be trying to maneuver around the industry's little obstacles. It is more likely that they'll steamroll right through them!"-- Wes Soriano - The Aquarian Weekly

If these guys were targeting a female teenage audience, they've accomplished it!"--
- Broadway Bill Lee, deejay WKTU-FM

Smoke Star hits hard enough for MTV, but can be gentle enough for VH-1. Look Out K-Rock!"-- - NJ.Com

It's great what these guys have done and are still doing. They put a Side Show Tour together called "Speed Cult Side Show". The Organizers of this event is Steve and Chigger from the band, Smoke Star. They hand select the areas best local acts and take their show on the road to different areas: NJ, NY, MI, PA, to name a few. It's been a HUGE success, thus far! "Every time we go back to the club that we play at, there's a line out the door," says Steve (Guitar). "We do all of the work ourselves so that we have total control and pleasure of the show running smoothly. What's included are tattoo vendors, clothing vendors, radio stations doing live broadcasts, sponsers from Budwieser, Coors Light, music store giveways like CD gift certficates, and even guitar and recording time giveways. These guys got it all! Plus a sideshow act from Tyler Fyre, who's been on David Leterman, Easyrider, Time Out NY, Jimmy Kimmel, and a bunch of prime time spots, as well as, top notch magazines. This sideshow tour is a must see spectacle! - AP-Guy Richards

"Hostel Inc. Industry EP '08"

Feeling a bit camera shy

Hostel Inc. is the ‘unholy’ union consisting of members from two of New Jersey’s more popular local bands and former MCA Recording Artists’ Spread Eagle frontman, Ray West. Guitarist, Ladd and bassist, Chigger, spent most of 2007 as part of Ray West’s touring solo band, as well as pulling double duty with their popular NJ-based band, Smoke Star. Ladd was no stranger to the business either, though. One of his former bands was signed to the now defunct LTS Records, which was financially backed by Vince Neil's Bad Bones Inc. After touring and sparking some interest, Ray, Ladd, and Chigger decided to start writing music together. Drummer Jeff Hardee, formerly of NJ-based Syndrome 8, was discovered through a lengthy audition process of drummers. Together, Hostel Inc. displays the epitome of hard work; talent, incredible songwriting, and unbelievable stage energy that most unsigned bands can't top making the future of Hostel Inc. look tremendous! Stay tuned!
