Bio
Becoming a Man:
Blessed with the name Micheal Woodget, Hostyle was born the middle child a single mother of three. With no father around, and a constantly working mother trying to provide for her family, the streets quickly adopted Hostyle. Hos attempted to straddle the fine line of righteousness and survival. However, the streets became too demanding to balance the two.
Even though Hostyle was bound to the street life, his love for music kept his creative juices going fueled by the everyday experiences.
Writing lyrics pacified the urge to flow, however, there was something still missing. In July 2001, Hos lost his sister to the hands of another human being. In the wake of the tragic event, Hos knew it was time to make a change.
Now reunited with his lifetime friends Byron Barrett and Strodnaire, it is time for Hos to share his experiences through his only addiction. MUSIC.
