Bio
Born and raised in New York City, HotaHota has been involved in music since he was 4 years old. He made the transition from hobbyist to proffessional after immigrating to Montreal to pursue a degree in mathematics, where he currently resides, in 2007.
While attending McGill University, HotaHota began playing recreationally with Thomas Cade who introduced him to music production. After spending time with Cade, HotaHota felt the itch to make his own work and began producing his inaugural EP: Aimlessness (2013).
Since launching the EP in April HotaHota has been touring between Montreal and Toronto while simultaneously producing original material for filmmakers Lesya Nak (Montreal) and Mike Bickal (New York). HotaHota is currently working on his first installation piece which will include both audio and visual elements.
