Bio
Hot Goss is a band based in East Lansing, MI. Rob Porte, Phil Keller, and John Coyle met while living in Frankenmuth, a small tourist town in Mid-Michigan. While Keller and Porte began musical collaboration, Coyle was playing with his former band, Bird Dog. After disbanding, the three got together to form an unnamed musical trio. After three months of hard work and music writing, it was time to add a new element into the mix. Katherine Rohr and Coyle first met when she was performing her solo act at Michigan State University, where they were both students. Being moved by her piano and voice, she was invited to complete the sound of Hot Goss.
Their first EP, entitled BLUSH, was released January 1st, 2011. It was recorded in Lansing with Dave Suchanek and Kevin Pritchard under the name of Bigger Brush Media, and mastered at No Place Like Home Studios in Oklahoma. Since then, they have been working to spread their music as far as possible and playing for wide a range of audiences.
