Hot Little Hands are a pop band from Melbourne.
They have toured Australia many times and New Zealand once.
Sounding "Like a mixtape melting in the sun" their music reflects real engagement with a range of musical forebears and plenty of talent.
Hot Little Hands' potent live set feels like a history of the dancefloor, taking in colours and shapes from each of their influences and projecting all onto a gleaming disco ball, refracting it around them in flashes and fragments.
Their Album Dynamite in Black and White is choc full of twisted classics, and ..."could be used as a template for other bands in a study on 'how to arrange the perfect song'." *
Recorded with Francois Tetaz (Gotye, Sally Seltmann, Architecture in Helsinki) Dynamite in Black and White displays a sensuous attention to detail, and a laser sharp focus on good ol' electronic fun.
They launched their debut album Dynamite in Black and White in Australia in October 2008 and in Japan early 2010.
They have spent the first half of 2010 writing a follow up album.
