Bio

Hot Pants from Zurich, Switzerland released their debut album "Come In To Party“ on February 1, 2011. Infectious party melodies come together to explore universal issues. The feelings evoked are vivid, reflecting on the rebellious need to dream and the fight for their realization.

Two of this album’s cuts, “Stop Talking With Me” and “Life is a Party”, were first heard on the 2008 Fast Forward Tour Sampler (presented by Atticus and Etnies) as was the band’s first single “Run Away”. The single received extensive airplay throughout Switzerland.

In addition to the current studio effort, a not to be missed feature of the band are their rousing live shows. These three remain true to the new albums party motto bringing a unique pop-punk sensitivity that flows from their songs, off the
stage, over and into the audience.

Over the last three years, the band gained a lot of experience, and had the opportunity not only to perform at some of Switzerland's most known music clubs, but also at the biggest open air festivals (incl. Open Air St. Gallen, Open Air Val Lumnezia, Winterthurer Musikfestwochen, ZüriFäscht). A defining moment for this young band came when they shared billing with the American pop-punk band "The Friday Night Boys“. Sharing a stage with this band served to cement their motivation to keep on fighting for their dream to rock the stages all over the world.

But that was the past – the future will show how this power trio will further advance their musical sensibilities. For now, they invite you to “Come In To Party” but plan on staying awhile as the flag is hoisted and the next EP is already in the pipeline!
