Hounds of Merry

Vocalist Nick Voltage, bassist Frankie Star and drummer Whytey all played together in another local outfit when they decided to start with a fresh approach. With the addition of guitarist Jonas Lane and a new album titled "evolution" they have acheived exactly that. "evolution" is a collection of 9 songs that capture where they are now,both as songwriters and musicians. While you can hear their early influences such as everything from AC/DC, early Aerosmith, Metallica and the Roilling Stones, "evolution" remains a modern sounding recording, with catchy melodies and vocal harmonies over a rythmically driven, groove laden canvas.
