Biography

"I was 13 when I first heard Sonny Terry & Brownie Mc gee’s “Walking Blues”- I was floored! It's hard to describe the feeling I had from those first notes, but I still remember it today and it made me want to listen to it again and again.
There and then I made up my mind what I wanted to do, so while other kids my age were getting into rap & Heavy metal I was digging out and learning albums from Hendrix, BB king, Chet Atkins, James Taylor, Clapton, Robert Cray, Wes Montgomery, Donny Hathaway, Marvin Gaye and anything else I could get my hands on.
Since that moment I have been trying to create my own sound to give to someone"

Rise

RISE
(Words and music by Howie Morgan)

Rise of the tide, fall of the moon
Setting of the sunset
Winters rain, springs full bloom
Warm summer solstice

These are ordinary things
Compared to my love for you..
Every drop of rain
That’s fallen from heavens place
Would not add up to the love I
Have for you cause your something
I can’t compare.....

Saturn’s rings, shooting star
Falling from deep space
Taj Mahal, a song by Bach
Lady by Divinci…

These are ordinary things
Compared to my love for you..
If every grain of sand was counted
It would not add up to the love
I have for you
I’m here and I’m falling deeper….

Will you catch me if I fall…?
Your body melts away my fears
My inhibitions disappear
Let’s loose our minds just for a while
World keeps on spinning while we're
Staying still in this time..
Will you catch me if I fall?

These are ordinary things
compared to my love for you..
If every drop of rain was counted
It would not add up to the love
I have for you
I’m here and I’m falling deeper….

Will you catch me if I?
When I fall, when I fall
You’re all that’s on my mind
When I fall

This Time

Written By: Howie Morgan

THIS TIME

Turn off your P.C’s
Driving you insane
And turn off your TV’s
And come and share your thoughts with me
Let’s keep the world waiting
There trying to get inside
Were lost in conversation
It’s the way things are meant to be
It’s the way things are supposed to be

So let’s take this time
To laugh and cry
Let’s take this time
To live our lives
Let’s take this time
The worlds outside

I know is been such a long time
Since we spoke like friends
We were busy doing something
What it was I forget
What it is I forget

I’m going nowhere
I’m going no place
I’ve got all the time that you need
I’m going nowhere
I’m going no place
So come and share your thoughts
So come and share your thoughts with me

So let’s take this time
To laugh and cry
Let’s take this time
To live our lives
Let’s take this time
The worlds outside
Let’s take this time the world outside can keep on waiting
For you and for me
Let’s take tis time
Let’s take our time
Let’s take our time

She told me

Written By: Howie Morgan

She told me (Howie Morgan)

She told me a story
The dreams of every girl
All she wanted in her world
Its all that she needed was
Castles in the sand, shinning amour on her man
It’s slowly unfolding
The life she wants to lead
And the dream that she believes
Its only she told me
A part of what she needs
Someone to share her dreams

She told me believe it
Believe in what you dream
And not what you see
She told me don’t leave it
Don’t leave it much too late
Or you’ll find that it escapes

She told me, she’s going
To a place around the world
She dreamed of as a girl
A moment, a journey
Takes her to this place flying high out into space
A thousand new faces, leads her to believe
A home is what she needs
Its only she told me
A part of what she needs
Someone to share her dreams

She told me believe it
Believe in what you dream
And not what you see
She told me don’t leave it
Don’t leave it much too late
Or you’ll find that it escapes

It’s all that she wanted
It’s all that she needed
When her world comes tumbling down
And there’s no way no way out

She told me believe it
Believe in what you dream
And not what you see
She told me don’t leave it
Don’t leave it much too late
Or you’ll find that it escapes
