Bio
Time is an interesting thing, you know? We hail from the West GA region, which has been and is home to countless amazing musical acts, including the Sacred Harp tradition. We find ourselves as Howl Ye a part of this musical lineage, and as such time dissolves a bit for us. This abilty to slip in and out of present day musical conventions, constraints, and notions combined with this connection to the past, the region, and this community constantly influences our music.
We have been a band since Fall of 08, and have amassed a loyal and loving fan base, and created a sound that can only be described as Psychedelic Barn Rock, er, something like that.
Howl Ye is made up of long-time friends, thus that unspoken musical connection runs deep with us. Improv elements flow like a mountain stream, songs built like a citadel. We often find ourselves as lost in the music as the listener, which only expands upon the connections we make with the audience.
We are a band on the move, constantly evolving, and looking forward, all while the ghosts of the past stand at our backs whispering their encouragement and love.
