Hailing from the city of Baltimore, How Tragic has set their sites on destroying the current trend of neon, fashion first, auto-tuned bands and show everyone what the current music scene has been missing for far too long: REAL music, made by a REAL band! With their debut EP, Get Dead, How Tragic more than succeeds at their daunting task. The band delivers 4 raw and unapologetic tracks that fuse elements of metal and hardcore. Co-produced by the band themselves, How Tragic have put themselves out there for the world to see.
With their strong DIY ethic, the band has quickly made a name for themselves with fans and fellow musicians alike. Most recently being featured on this years Maryland Metal and Hardcore Festival, as well as opening for metal heavyweights like Throwdown, Bury Your Dead, and Abacabb among others.
As 2009 comes to a close and with the eve of their Ignite Records debut upon them, How Tragic plans to capitalize on their national buzz with strong touring throughout the fall and spring followed by dates on everyones favorite summer festival. With such a huge year planned for the band, it will be no surprise when at this time next year everyone is uttering the name, How Tragic.
