HRP

Formed in 2004, HRP's sound has evolved a lot. They have become comfortable in combining the dirty garage sound with a prog-style approach, a la Mars Volta, for example. They have garnered easy comparisons to the Hives and the White Stripes, as their songwriting holds much of the same pop-sensibilities. They have also been known to draw concert-goers into their epic jams, and often leave them feeling stunned at the technical skill of drummer NP or guitarist MP. They have been known to steal shows from larger local and touring bands with their non-stop energy and stage presence.

Their first release, Dear Helen EP, is sold out, but they are planning to follow this up with a brand new full-length to be released this summer.
