Hucleberry Finn is the outstanding rock band in Korean Indie music which started from the middle of 1990s. The leader Lee Giyong has received high praise as a lyric writer and best singer-songwriter by music critics and Lee Soyong has an androgynous and attractice voice and sings explosively, powerfully on stages. All these are the distinct features of this band.
It was released in 2004 and nominated for three fields in KMA awards and the leader Lee Giyong got a special prize. That means many fans and critics regard Hucleberry Finn as one of the greatest band and support them.
The first album [18th, Wednesday] released 1998 was ranked 64th in the Twentieth Century Korean Pop Music 100 Best Selection. In the second album [the man looking like me] they began to use the acoustic sounds which got intensified in the third album. And The third album [the star of Olypmio] is the most lyrical album of the whole HucleberryFinn's albums. It was released in 2004 and nominated for three fields in KMA awards and the leader Lee Giyonggot a special prize. That means many fans and critics regard HucleberryFinn as one of the greatest band and support them.
The fourth album [Illusion ... my disillusionment] in 2007 was well recievedby rock music fans and critics.Thefourth album was nominated for five fields in KMA awards and Huckleberry Finn got the best modern rock album prize. They released the fifth album [the black tiger] in 2011 and they performs live on various stages including JisanValley Rock Festival, PentaportRock Festival...And also Korean Music Conference called Mucon 2012-11-08
