Bio

Since the age of three, country music has always been lead singer Sarah Worden’s passion. She started singing professionally as a child, doing jingles on TV commercials. Growing up in the Hudson Valley, in upstate New York, Sarah made her rounds every summer at county fairs winning talent competitions and opening for mainstream country acts.

In the fall of 2017 Sarah signed an artist development deal with Go Long Entertainment in Nashville, TN. She is now working with an incredible team of award-winning songwriters, producers, and industry experts. Sarah frequently writes with famed songwriters Will Rambeaux (Faith Hill/John Michael Montgomery/Jo Dee Messina) and Sherrie Austin (George Strait/Tim McGraw/Blake Shelton). Trying to garner attention as a female solo artist, Sarah Worden has already sung her songs on some of the best stages in Nashville including The Listening Room, 3rd and Lindsley and The Bluebird Café. "People stop in their tracks when they hear her voice. She has power house vocals like Carrie--but then you want to grab a drink with her afterwards like Miranda."

However, in the era of the “Tomato-Gate” in country music, Sarah decided to go a different route-being proactive in what feels like a never-ending battle against female country solo acts. With the addition of lead guitarist Sean Pauley from West Virginia and bassist Andrew Kosek from New Jersey, Sarah with her husband and drummer Richie Owens decided they should show a little love to their roots. Hudson Valley, country music’s new female fronted band, is finishing their debut seven song EP and booking shows around Nashville. With songs like “Drink Me Gone” and “Baby Goodbye” it is hard to ignore the influence that 90’s female country has had on Sarah as a vocalist. Hudson Valley hopes to recreate the story style lyrics of 90’s country while still having a modern edge, which are evident in songs like “Run Mascara, Run” showcasing her power house vocals and incredible range. “We've been needing a classic country female voice; who the hell thought she'd be from New York?”-Will Rambeaux.
