Huevo & the Giant

Originally forming as an acoustic duo in 2010 as a result of lead singer Mitch Flynns already eclectic collection of songs. After only a few months together and after supporting Gillian Christie at the City Halls in Glasgow, The pair were invited back to headline "The Acoustic Affair's Three Best Emerging Songwriters". However as the pair grew both in skill and influence the decision was made to draft in additional members. January 2011 saw the full band take to the studio to record there debut EP "Beers Budd's & Butterflies" which was launched at a sold out headline show in Glasgow's O2 Academy 2. 2011 saw the band undergo extensive gigging across the central belt, As well as entering a competition to open Tiree Music Festival, which saw the band come in first place with 2289 votes.
Since the festival in July, the band took time to write there new 3 track Ep which was recorded and produced at "Glo Worm Studios" this October, by Ian Huchison who has previously worked with the likes of The Treacherous Orchestra, Karen Matheson, Transatlantic Sessions 4 and Lou Hickey. With the intention of as much touring of the new ep in the spring through to summer as possible.
2012 has already seen the band support Various Cruelties at a packed show at Glasgow's prestigious King Tuts Wah Wah Hut.
