Hugh Fadal band

If you were stuck in a long winded conversation with someone in a crowd and heard the Hugh Fadal Band in the background, you would become sidetracked with the bands "Environmentally Friendly Rock & Roll", and have to excuse yourself from the conversation in order to listen to the music.

Since the Hugh Fadal Band emerged on the Texas Music scene in 98' by winning the Texas State Battle of the Bands, like a fine wine their music and performances have continued to get better with time. The band has continued to demonstrate its longevity and consistency with an impossible to ignore sound and presence that the band proudly refers to as "The Other Side of Texas Music."
Led by the earthy lyrics of front man and singer/songwriter Hugh Fadal, the band features the musical prowess of each of its five members nightly, allowing them to shine individually and stimulate the listeners senses with vocal harmonies, inspired solos, and a moving southern rock & blues sound likening comparisons to the Allman Brothers and the Eagles.
Band members include former Dangerous Toys guitarist Paul Lidel on keyboards and vocal harmonies, Houston native Mike Sigman on lead guitar, Austin's own "Smiling" Silas Parker on bass guitar, and the well versed Frank Kriege on drums and percussion.
With three original CD's under their collective belts, the band has enjoyed a busy schedule thanks to hard work, countless rehearsals, and a loyal fan base. Their chameleon like ability to appeal to large audiences of many musical genres has landed them on a variety of Texas' best stages- from the Shiner Bock Bocktoberfest to the Houston Rodeo to the San Antonio Oyster Bake and more. As entertainment editor Paige Ross of the Corpus Christi Caller Times best put it, "Fadal and his band seem poised to make their mark on Texas music."

Good Thing Gone Bad

Written By: Hugh Fadal

Here we go again, Lord I feel the nearing of the end. Aint no blame to place, well who would ever guess it would ever work out this way. And it's sad, so sad, Good Thing Gone Bad.
Your in it with your eyes wide open, expecting to forget your past. Smile and wave goodbye babe, aint no guarantees that a love will last. And its sad, so sad, good thing gone bad.
You've heard it said nothing ever lasts forever, and I swore that this was the exception to the rule. And when I couldn't bring myself to promise forever, it would have been unfair to you, and that's nothing I would do.
Take my memories with you, and keep them on your mind, how can you extinguish the flame when its, love that fuels the fire. Love that fuels the fire. And it's sad, so sad, Good Thing Gone Bad.

Set List

We are armed with three to four hours of all original music. We do not prefer to take any breaks, but rather to come out smoking and keep the crowd thoroughly entertained. Songs range from three to six minutes in length on average, and covers are well selected songs that play into our style allowing us to put our signature on them and wow the audience. (Allman Brothers, Ben Harper, Doyle Bramhall Jr., Sublime, John Mellencamp)
