Bio

Since the Hugh Fadal Band emerged on the Texas Music scene in 98' by winning the Texas State Battle of the Bands, like a fine wine their music and performances have continued to get better with time. The band has continued to demonstrate its longevity and consistency with an impossible to ignore sound and presence that the band proudly refers to as "The Other Side of Texas Music."
Led by the earthy lyrics of front man and singer/songwriter Hugh Fadal, the band features the musical prowess of each of its five members nightly, allowing them to shine individually and stimulate the listeners senses with vocal harmonies, inspired solos, and a moving southern rock & blues sound likening comparisons to the Allman Brothers and the Eagles.
Band members include former Dangerous Toys guitarist Paul Lidel on keyboards and vocal harmonies, Houston native Mike Sigman on lead guitar, Austin's own "Smiling" Silas Parker on bass guitar, and the well versed Frank Kriege on drums and percussion.
With three original CD's under their collective belts, the band has enjoyed a busy schedule thanks to hard work, countless rehearsals, and a loyal fan base. Their chameleon like ability to appeal to large audiences of many musical genres has landed them on a variety of Texas' best stages- from the Shiner Bock Bocktoberfest to the Houston Rodeo to the San Antonio Oyster Bake and more. As entertainment editor Paige Ross of the Corpus Christi Caller Times best put it, "Fadal and his band seem poised to make their mark on Texas music."
