Producer/performer/songwriter HUGO’s sound - a unique-yet-familiar mix of electronica, street-rock, funkadelic grooves and hip-hop - HUGO’s powerful ballad “Butterfly Wings,” was featured on the nationally distributed Best of Taxi compilation. HUGO’s athletic funk rocker “Mean Ol Dog (Damn, Where Did You Learn To Rip Like That)” was chosen as the official song of the Pro Wakeboard Tour 2002. A natural performer, HUGO has also taken it to the streets, performing alongside top-name stars such as classical angel Charlotte Church and KISS drummer Peter Criss at the “911 World Trade Aid” benefit in New York and making national tour appearances (2002 VANS Warped Tour, Pro Wakeboard Tour 2002 and CD Baby’s 2002 Tour Baby
