It is devoted to conservation, community-building and curating at the forefront of new music and sound art. It funds, organizes and archives performances, recordings, exhibitions and special projects that connect artists and their audiences in enlightening ways.
Human Ear works with legendary and emerging artists from a wide range of disciplines, all of whom share in the groundbreaking nature of their work. Our roster of past and present artists includes Ariel Pink, Gary Wilson, Michael Pisaro, William Basinski, Linda Perhacs and Jeff Phelps.
We do a lot, from putting on events and producing recordings, to organizing special projects that help emerging artists gain a voice. ...And we're artists, too.
