One of the newest additions to the CCM community, Humillé (pronounced Oo-Me-J) is a bilingual collective led by Carolina Tejada. They are characterized by energetic, powerful music, a raw worship style, and a spirit-led spontaneous/prophetic flow.
Humillé was born out of Vision 20/20 Ministries based in Berks County, Pennsylvania. The band is composed of siblings Carolina (lead vocalist and songwriter), Alex (vocalist and acoustic guitarist) and Esme Tejada (vocalist and songwriter), as well as Elvis Tejada (vocalist, keyboardist, and songwriter), Nelson Rodriguez (bassist and songwriter) and Eugenio Deschamps (electric guitarist).
The band is passionate about writing songs for a culturally diverse, global church community. Their main priority is to foster an environment of intimacy and freedom through worship, prayer, and the word.
Their first album, produced by Gabriel Wilson, is set to release fall 2019 and has been kicked off by the single release “To the Waters” and subsequent Spanish version “A Las Aguas”.
