Bio
Hundredsomethings is an alternative rock band, period. There are no costumes,
there aren’t fifteen members, they are not all extremely young or old, they are four
people that appreciate music, art, and hope to serve both. The music features loud
guitars, covered with distortion and feedback. The drums and bass are the heart of
the noise, as they give energy and intensity to the songs. Live performances take on
a wall of noise effect, as melodies and curvy song structure take over.
Influences go all the way from Sonic Youth, and Nirvana to Broken social
scene and Bloc Party. There are a wide range of unpredictable sounds to be heard
from the album and the live performances. Plan on the unplanned with
Hundredsomethings, because you will not be seeing something contrived.
