"FIFTEEN for THIRTEEN - SoundsXP's Tips for 2013"

Hailing from South-West England, HUSH! have already made minor waves locally and have headed to that there London in the hope of furthering their career. With this type of contagious, jangly indiepop that so many of us find irresistible they should have no trouble turning a few heads. Currently in the rehearsal room beavering away on new material, it may be a couple of months before we hear much more from them, but if first taster 'There's Something In The Stars Tonight' is anything to go by, fans of melody and the brighter side of 80s indie will have much to look forward to. - Sound XP

"The Sound Of 2013"

OK we're sticking our necks out a bit on this one. South-west trio HUSH! have very little material available to listen to online. Aside from a couple of brief snippets there's only one full song entitled 'There's Something In The Stars Tonight', but that's good enough to mark them out as a band to watch. If you like The Pains Of Being Pure At Heart or Being There then these guys might be right up your street. - Sound Of Confusion

Bio

H U S H ! are a british indie dream pop trio from Bridport, Dorset, England formed in 2011. Currently in the studio with Che Albrighton from Clock Opera (Island Records, Moshi Moshi Records). H U S H ! release their debut single - 'Teenage Weekends' later next year. Hyped on blog's and zines throughout 2012 and tipped as SoundXp's 'Tips For 2013' as well as being played on BBC Introducing a number of times. This is Indie Pop not far from the likes of New Order, The Durutti Column, Echo and the Bunnymen, Twin Shadow & Beach House offering a grand & atmospheric ShoeGaze texture to a pumping rhythm section of analog drum machines and synthesisers. Described as 'an eclectic mix of everything good about the 80's with a modern and original touch'.
