"Album Review"

Out of the surging Sacramento rap scene emerges Hustlematic and his sophomore album "The Gameplan". This past year, California's capital has been super-hot with numerous tight releases. "The Gameplan" serves as another log on the ever-growing fire.

What I like about this album is that out of 16 tracks, only four feature other artists. Compilation styled albums are played the f*ck out.

The production is what I would call "The New Sac Sound". It's pretty tight and thorough the whole way through. Standout tracks include "The Gameplan", "My Crazy Life", "Doin the Damn Thang", and "Action".--TKB

"Album Review"

This Hustlematic sh*t is a smoke weed in your car type of album. It's got the deep bass lines, got the sick-ass intros to the songs, and dude got a laid back narrating rap style. He ain't tryin to overly push it, he ain't tryin to overly twist it or be hella super lyrical miracle. Dude just sit back to these laid back beats.

Imagine a West Coast beat mixed wit a ni@@a who may be sippin some of that Down South syrup. It's the deep bass lines and the f*ckin eeries, but they slowed down; they almost sound Screwed. After you listen to it a while you feel like this ni@@a's pretty good; roll up another one and let's listen to this some more.

It's outta Sacramento. The production has a nice consistent sound like it was all done by the same producer, even though I see he worked with a few producers. Now that everybody tryin to mix up their sound using different production styles, it just sounds good to me when somebody got one sound on their album. I gotta give the ni@@a his props, he got his own style and he dope.--Flaggs

Bio

What do you get when you mix the entrepreneurial sprit with raw lyricism and social consciousness? You get one Hustlematic individual. Hailing from the streets of Sacramento by way of Chicago, Hustlematic returns to make his mark in the rap game. Murder Dog magazine says the man is dope with his own style, now you’ll get to judge for yourself.

With the release of his third album, “Money, Sex, & Politics” Hustlematic hopes to help West Coast Hip-Hop’s return to prominence. Drawing comparisons to a young Ice Cube, Hustle (as he's called by fans) spits lyrics with a passion rarely seen amongst rappers today. From teenage pregnancy to the war on terror, Hustle rhymes about many of the social and political ills of today. Hustlematic describes his music as “Pure rebel music the way Hip-Hop used to be”. Hip-Hop has always been about bucking the system and being different from the norm. Hustlematic’s music personifies this way of thinking.

Known for his hard-driving, intense performances, Hustlematic is regarded as one of Northern California's best entertainers. Add to this songs that actually have a message, and you have an artist that can rock just about any crowd. Complete the roster for your conference, festival, or event by booking Hustlematic today!!
