"Generation NEXT"

"This band has so much fun that even the most ardent...cynics find themselves pumping their fists in the air by the end of its set. Singer Tim Conneally is a great frontman, comfortable with goofy dancing and mugging."
--Anna Ditkoff Baltimore City Paper
(of a previous Conneally brothers project) - Baltimore City Paper

Bio

Sean and Tim are products of a broken musical household.

Encouraged to play instruments from a very young age, Sean and his sister Whitney at the ages of 8 and 12 were playing arrangements of folk tunes on a chord organ and 1963 vintage Ringo Starr Ludwigs. Raised on AM hits and their mother's collection of obscure early 60's pop, the kids displayed astounding musical proficiency. By age 10, Sean was playing piano, guitar, and trombone.

When a tragic accident took the life of their mother, the kids were forever changed, they looked to one another for support and developed a painfully cynical outlook on everything but music. Music was the anchor which could not be taken from them.

Youngest brother Timothy had been given a clarinet at the tender age of 8, a full two years before his school offered musical tutelage. By 10, he was repeatedly approached by the school's choral director asking him to join the choir, but he denied every time. His brother and sister had taught him that band and orchestra were the only acceptable places for musicians.

Years later, when their sister had become an FM radio DJ, A 15 year old Sean discovered that with a couple of her tape decks, he could play over his own recordings like a rudimentary 4-track. When no one was around, 11 year old Tim practiced beatboxing for his fifth grade talent show into the mic.

Soon thereafter, Sean took up roles in bands playing guitar or bass, and Tim found his love for live performance through the theater. It wasn't until they were both out of high school, living on their own, in their own bands, following their own musical paths that Sean and Tim decided that any other collaboration just couldn't compare. Each the other's idol, each the other's biggest foil.
