Bio
Hyena Motorcade was formed in June of 2009 by Ric Kaley and Adam Coffin (both former members of the Los Angeles based Indie band BloodPenny) with Art Agunod joining shortly thereafter on bass guitar. Their first recorded track "Shadows", appeared in the soundtrack of the weekly mixed martial arts television program MMA Worldwide which aired on Mark Cuban's sports network HDNet for ten weeks in a row during the Fall of 2009. Shadows was recorded at Sound Asylum Studios in Santa Ana, CA. and featured Rick, Adam, Art and guest drummer James English. Later that year, Nino Agunod joined Hyena Motorcade on drums and the group entered Satellite Park Studios in Malibu, CA to record their debut three song demo under the guidance of the legendary Paul Roessler. The recordings featured two originals (Into The Static and Snowflakes) along with a cover of seminal punk band The Plugz song "Achin'".
After exiting BloodPenny for good in May of 2011, Adam and the rest of Hyena Motorcade are now fully devoted to writing, recording and releasing new material as well as playing live around the Southern California area and beyond
