Hyper Planet are an Iranian progmetal band who were originally formed in 2010.
Before formed the band in 2010, Amin (Guitarist) got to know with one of his classmate at the university who played the guitar. After a while Amin invited him to come to his home in order to jamming there.
After that, we decided to form a band and Armin (Bassit) joined to the guys. At first, We set in motion to cover Metallica, Joe Satriani, Stevie Vai, Pink Floyd...etc, in our basement, we almost had a routine plane to play music at least 3 hours for 3 time in a week with one another. After a while, we got to know with a Drummer and started to play music with him, so basically, the band were formed in 2005! after playing almost 2 years together and gaining experience, covering the songs, we made our mind to record our own stuff! The result was satisfying for the band but while we were about it, drummer and rhythm guitarist had confronted with some obstacles in their own life and they couldn't continue, so that, Amin(guitarist) and Armin(bassist) decided to continue their music journey together.

During that, we played music hard, spending a lot of time to practice together, increasing our knowledge, so that, we came to many new materials and working on them, despite of the fact that; we had increased the time of listening to the novel music! finally, in 2010 we recorded our first track without a drummer and keyboardist in Hard Rock, in which; you can feel some progmetal sense in guitar solos and bass lines.
After writing and releasing some songs in this genre, we started to jamming again and recording, listening to our new stuff over and over, Not to say; as far as we were enthusiastic about progmetal music and from the very beginning we had a great passion of the bands such as Rush, Dream Theater, Symphony X, Porcupine- Tree, Opeth, Unexpext...etc, as a result, we found our way in progmetal music.

In 2011 we decided to record our first progmetal album and After writing our first song which is called : Grain Of The Truth, we met drummer Elyar khosravi. After that, we started to write the second song that is called: The Wind Of Ailanthus! after finishing writing of this song, we got to know with keyboardist Hadi Kiani and he played the new keyboard lines on it! now, we're ready to go to the studio for recording the third one and the whole album!
