"Hypha of Do-It-Big Ent."

It hasn’t taken Hypha long to turn what was once a negative,
into a positive. After losing his uncle, whom founded the Do It
Big Entertainment brand he reps, Hypha was determined to carry
on the legacy left behind, and pay tribute with his own talents. To
many that are close to him, he is DaShawn McIver, but to his fans
he is Hypha; The indie artist who exploded onto the scene
overcoming the adversity and struggle he, and his family, has
endured.
His career goals are to continue what his Uncle left him. This
includes not just becoming a popular name in the music industry,
but a leading name in the industry. With a strong team, a style that
fuses R&B and southern rap, and with a smooth, yet melodic
delivery, Hypha is here to stay and the numbers don’t lie.

However, it was his breakthrough
project, that released digitally June
2016 and hosted by DJ King Lo,
that has been a defining success
for him. Entitled “Diamond in the
Ruff”, for obvious reasons, the
mixtape has molded the brand he
took over.

As seen, 2016 has been a big year for Hypha. His hard work
and talent caught the eye of DJ Young RB who chose to host a
mixtape featuring Hypha and Lil Uzi Vert. It was released in
March 2016 on SPinrilla and to date has over 2.2 million views
and over 170k downloads

The project stirred the media up with its
numbers in only a matter of months.
After the initial release of “Diamond in the
Ruff”, with over 30k listens accumulated in
its first month, the official video for the
single "Hard" released. Directed by Dre
Cannonz and featuring Lil Woe, it's been a
huge succes for Hypha. A success that he
takes pride in because it was handpicked
by his late uncle, King T. - Tia
