I Told You

I Told You is an American music duo from central Ohio . The band was formed in 2017 by lead singer/guitarist Skip Taylor (real name: Adam Holman) of Ontario, Ohio and drummer Andre Robinson (aka Dre) of Columbus, Ohio. The band focuses their talents on creating music that blurs genres and entertains the masses.

I Told You is yin and yang manifested. They have also been said to be the musical equivalent of an oatmeal mix pack. Skip brings flavor with riffs and lyrics heavily influenced by alt rock, grunge, indie, and pop punk; while Dre adds the perfectly meshed undertones of hard rock, punk, jam, hip hop and R&B on drums.

Both artists have been heavily involved in music and performing for the past decade. Skip was involved in multiples bands (Blue Room Sessions, Staircase Wit, and TerriSchaivo:LiveAndUnplugged) but he could never find other members who were dedicated enough to stay with it (until Dre). Dre had been heavily involved in rapping, beat/song writing, and producing (KeysNDope) until joining forces with Skip.

While the group is relatively new, they began performing live in 2018 and quickly gained traction with the local scenes, performing at bars and small clubs, as well as performing at the Capital City Marathon for thousands of people. I Told You's eclectic background, time on the stage, and outstanding musical abilities are the components that are quickly thrusting this duo into superstardom.
