Texas native Matthew Robinson known professionally as CASH is a singer,songwriter and has been preforming and singing since the age of three. Living in Texas
and raised in church began to cultivate his passion for musicwhile singing in the youth choir. Cash’s mother exposed him to some of the greatsuch as James Brown, Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder. As Cash came into hisown, his early influences were Michael Jackson, Usher and Chris Brown. He knewearly on that music and singing were his passions and planned to pursue them.Cash began pursuing his musical dreams and decided to really focus on his musiccareer in high school. Early on Def Jam offered him a position in a RnB group,thankful for the offer Cash decided to pursue a solo career. He recorded his firstrecord, which caught the attention of French Montana’s team. The same year, Cashgot accepted and entered the premed program at Texas A&M. While attending schoolhe kept a grueling schedule flying across the country with various tours, performingand recording. Determined to finish what he started, despite all the demands of hismusic career, he graduated from Texas A&M with his Bachelor degree in BiomedicalScience.
After graduation he moved to New York on a semi-permanent basis to focus on
recording. He teamed up with Remo the Hitmaker to record his upcoming single “In theLoop “which was premiered by DJ Enuff on Hot 97. Becoming a steady and well-knownpresence in the New York City, Cash earned the attention of numerous producers andlabels. He began to travel with French Montana (Excuse my French Tour) and ChrisBrown (One Helluva a Night tour), a few dates with Remy Ma & Fat Joe and othervarious shows. He has also featured on an episode of Keeping up with the Kardashian,articles in The Source, Hip Hop Weekly, Respect Magazine, this is 50.com,and other various publications and blogs.Continuing independently, Cash has linked up with numerous talented producers,writers, and DJs that have helped him achieve the sound that he has beensearching for through a series of hits that fully encompass his energy and spirit.Currently, Cash is in the studio working on his up coming project which will bereleased independently later this year.
Cash is incredibly versatile in his vocal abilities, from killing the club to embodying
the essence of a true RnB sound. His songs reflect the conciseness oftoday, relationship troubles, and has the ability to connect with a just aboutanyone's inner feelings.
