Carlos Mariche -- Currently known as Charlie2k was born August 15th, 1994. Raised with two other siblings and his two parents, he attend his first few years in grade school in Fulton County GA. His father was extremely involved with music growing up to which ultimately became one of Charlie2k's biggest influencers. Watching his father practice his craft as a DJ gave him the upper hand in this case. Although, it had been said to land him into trouble as a kid, he grew fond of the equipment and took it upon himself to learn. Growing up, his parents didn't have much money to just give to him, so he would work side jobs with his father and go around his neighborhood cutting grass for $20 bucks. His first attempt to make music was using his older sister's labtop and at the age of 12 figured out how to record himself using a program that he downloaded and would nothing but a headset microphone. Super determined to write songs, by 13 he created his first mixtape of 21 songs. Recorded solely by him. Charlie2k would then go on spending his time either in his room behind a pen and paper or outside showing his latest new song to his friends. Eventually, his parents began to have problems which cause them to separate. Leaving Charlie to deal with more then the average teenager. Slowly but surely Charlie would beging to hang out with the wrong crowds leading him to getting into countless amounts of fights and basically everything going down hill from there. Charlie would end up doing some time in a Detention Center, have a son, experience his mother moving away to a different state. Juggling 4 jobs and basically having to do anything and everything to maintain but never having anything to really show for it. Charlie2k was 18 when he made the decision to pursue music as a full time career. He knew if he was ever going to make some real money he needed to stop playing and get serious. He went on to record 3 more projects from there. His latest one being released in Oct. Of 2018 calling it "Can't Win for Losing". Said to be one of his best ones yet.
