Initially known as Andrae’ Betts, Dre-D-One grew up in the small town of Marion, Indiana, where he gained an early appreciation for music. Through his triumph he has gained a large fan base in his region, but has also created a buzz on the west coast, taking his music to a more national level.
Dre-D-One mixes the grittiness of a Lil’ Wayne with the passion of a Kayne West, to provide an inevitable one of a kind sound to his music! His word play and creativity are absolutely second to none! He embellishes the true essence of hip-hop, and it definitely comes across in each and every one of his songs.
Although unsigned, Dre-D-One has managed to catch the ears, eyes and hearts of many , with his look, musical edginess and world-wide marketability. The most notable being the leading global producer of sports footwear, equipment, and leisure wear, in Adidas. “When looking at an artists to work with, and associate our brand with, we looked for individuals with a true love of music, and who use it to express and motivate themselves. With having done countless numbers of shows with a host of household names, and elating fans from the Midwest region all the way to the west coast, he is finally ready for the mainstream and a well deserving record deal.
The talented and persistent, self-made artist believes in his craft as well as in himself. Along with his willingness and strong drive to succeed, it is now safe to say that he will not stop until he leaves his mark on the entire hip-hop generation!
