EG¥PT, formerly known as Kaylan J., is a talented
self taught, rising Singer/Songwriter and Recording Artist, with a
distinct R&B sound and Hip-Hop vibe from Maplewood, NJ. She has been
compared to "The Weekend" and refereed to as the "Modern Day Aaliyah".
Only creating music for just a little over one-year, she's met with
multiple major recorded labels, has reached 40,000 plays on her most
recent single "DRUGZ" in just 24 hours and is headed to open in the
upcoming months for a well-known/notable artist on their tour in
Atlanta, GA.
EG¥PT infuses her own style and edge with the modern
trap-soul genre to give a refreshing sound to the Hip-Hop industry. She
continues to grow and evolve her musical ability, brand, and following,
to maximize her career and become a power player within industry.
