Tell us about where you are from and how you got to this position today.
I ‘mfrom the Great Lakes state! Troy, MI. I started rapping when i was like 13 years old. My first rap song was about the Detroit Pistons believe it or not. I used to write stuff down all the time, smoke and spit bars around the bonfire with a couple friends but never really started recording until recently. Honestly, Mac Millers “Blue Slide Park” inspired me to start actually recording my music. BTW go cop Blue Slide Park at your local shop!

Tell us more about the current song you are promoting to everyone.
I just dropped this new single called “Reach.” You can actually listen to it at the top of this page. Reach is suppose to be an inspirational song that brings good vibes out of your speakers. I am a big Wiz Khalifa fan and I wanted to bring out the same message as he did in “Cameras” on Rolling Papers. Its a song that you can chill with your friends, lay back and smoke to. I Plan on shooting the video for “Reach” next month in the Bahamas. I already have ideas with what i want to do with it. It will be a crazy visual and you fans shouldn’t be disappointed.

What are you currently working on and what can we expect to see?
I’m currently working on this CRAZY track that has a drakish feel to it. Its smooth but it goes hard at the same time. It doesn’t have a title yet, it comes naturally, but i will keep you twitter followers posted on the drop date. I’m also thinking about a solo mixtape in the next month or so. SO STAY TUNED!!

Tell us about one of the hardest challenges you had to face in the industry?
Building a fanbase was definitely the hardest challenge i faced in this music industry. I had an idea of who i wanted to reach out to, but you have to get them to listen to your music first. Its also a challenge finding a sidekick like Brain Bang that you can trust.

What are some things artists need to be careful of?
Anything that comes to easy cant be good. You have to work hard (not half ass) to get your music out there. You can’t sit and wait for a deal to pop up. And when you start making some cash from your music, don’t let the fame get to your head. You have to build from that and make yourself better and better.

What suggestions do you have for other artists like yourself?
The most important thing is to not be fake in your music. Make it all original and just be yourself. There are a ton of talented rappers who think just because everyone else doing something, they have to do it to. Just be yourself and it will be a lot easier for you.

What are the best ways to sell your products as an artist?
I haven’t actually reached the point of me selling my music yet. I decided to give all my music out for free because I’m not worried about making a couple bucks off my singles. People will get it free anyways on the internet so I would rather give my stuff out for free, wait it out, and wait for something big to pop up in the future.

What is one of your favorite ways to promote yourself and your music?
Twitter is my number one favorite. I like to connect with my fans and see what they have to say about my music when i tweet new stuff. Its definitely a complete different feeling, seeing what fans have to say other than looking at your view count or download count on SoundCloud or HotNewHipHop.
