New York's craving for real music will finally be satiated by SSMG's debut of REP THE STAGE. REP THE STAGE will feature artists in the genres R&B, Pop, Soul, Rock and Hip-Hop, as a response to the growing need for diversity on the stage.
SSMG has showcased a variety of talented artists who have been featured on networks like BET, VH1 and have graced the stages of New York, Philadelphia, DC and Maryland. Talent for this upcoming show will include R&B singing sensation Ian Tyler. The show will premiere at Fat Baby NYC (112 Rivington St.) on November 7, 2009. Attendees will receive a compilation CD previewing the artists who perform and other various promotional items - Soul Sessions Music Group

Ian Tyler is a rising star of the New York/New Jersey R&B-Pop scene; Ian Tyler is a talented new voice ready to bring his music to a national audience. Inspired by artists such as Boyz II Men, Stevie Wonder, and John Coltrane, Ian Tyler takes his music into an original and thrilling new direction.
Music has always been a part of Ian Tyler's life. Born into a family of two generations of musicians, at a young age Ian Tyler discovered his ability to sing. At the age of ten, he entered local talent shows. At the age of 16 he developed his stage presence and his song writing skills. At the age of 18, Ian Tyler began recording music. Now, Ian Tyler's live performances include appearances in the IA Universal and the Rock Starr Arena Showcases. He has also appeared with The Sugar Hill Gang.
Currently, Ian Tyler is writing new songs for his debut project. Ian is also preparing to release singles for the next quarter. In the meantime, Ian Tyler's first mixtape "When I Was . . ." will drop November 2009.
