James Wade began writing music in 2003, influenced by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Kanye West, James developed a unique style of creative lyricism with relative themes, humor with heavy emphasis on word play and delivery (melodic delivery) in his last year of college James Wade decided to release a mixtape entitled "Awkward Silence" which generated a buzz in his college-town of Dayton, OH - soon after James Wade was enlisted to perform along side Mike Posner and the Brain trust for two performances in Dayton Beach, FL and in Dayton, OH - in the summer while receiving radio play from Dayton and Atlanta radio stations James Wade released the album The Common Ground independently and received press from Dayton Daily News, The Urbanian.com, and The Commission, and So Hood.com all praising his unique style and approach to music citing "James has the ability to reach any type of person, he understands music but even more, he understands what people want to here - you can tell his friends and background are as diverse is his music is" Currently James is talks to do more performances with Chip Tha Ripper (Sept 26, 09, Toledo), Kid Cudi, and Drake
