Nashville’s got a newcomer, y’all, and he goes by the name of Lukr. Of course, don’t let the term ‘newcomer’ fool you. Lukr, known to many as Luke Foley, has been at it for a while. Between leading Farewell Flight and writing for other performers, Luke has kept himself plenty busy, but is finally bringing his debut as a solo artist to the world. Co-written and produced by Jonny Price, this alt-pop anthem turns the campfire vibrations up to ten and soaks our hearts in enrapturing melodic runs. Disclaimer: we’re about to let a few f-words loose. Nashville crooner Luke Foley (aka Lukr) is riding the waves of his new summer-themed banger, “Fucked Up Summer.” In the video for the new tune, we see the impressively-bearded Lukr splitting time between his music city hometown and the graffitti-laden neighborhood of Bushwick in Brooklyn. Lukr is chasing that big pop sound and “F*cked Up Summer” is incredibly pop-minded, highlighting Lukr’s quasi-rough, southern-tinged vocals with a set of fucked-up-romance style lyrics.

Luke Foley unleashes stirring pop as Lukr. The singer-songwriter from Nashville permeates his song Fucked Up Summer with much sweet, moving emotion, his bittersweet crooning rising warmly from the sweeping song. Fucked Up Summer is catchy and passionate, and as long as I get to listen to the alt pop song, I can’t imagine an awful summer to come. - I Heart Moosiq
Shimmering yet raw vocals, makes his second single a catchy and passionate self-described nostalgic neon grunge pop! - The Dutch Guy
