Bio

Florian Pessin, a.k.a. "Lull", began his folk project in 2007.
After chosing his pseudo name from a reference, to a song by Radiohead, he self-released his first four-track EP "First Releases".
With hard work and self-marketing, doors began to open for Lull, most notably opening for Jude and later Keren Ann, in the same year of 2007.
Lull has always continued to take his writings to a new level, but it was in 2010, with his new found fame, that he devoted himself to release his debut album, while continuing to tour in France and England.
In April, Lull was featured on the single of Modern Folks ("So Overrated" - Aderock -2010 ) singing and playing banjo.
Also unkown to some of his outer-fan base, he simulteaneously finished an indie rock album ("When Nobody Knows About You" - forthcoming), by Settled in Motion, in which he is the songwriter, singer and guitarist. After touring with Settled in Motion, most notably an appearance at "Musilac" (Aix les Bains) and opening for Placebo, Lull released his second four-track EP, "On My Way Back Home" (Wild Concept - 2010).
Again, gaining momentum and in that summer, Lull shared the stage with Revolver at Cabaret Frappé ( Grenoble, FR ), playing to his hometown audience.
In October he was invited up on stage to play alongside with Ane Brun and Fredrika Stahl, after having a discussion, with Ane, about their similarities, their love for folk, and that they both performed at Cabaret Frappé.
In November, he lent his talents to Jose and the Wastemen, for a track, "High" for their EP, "Six City Songs" ( Un Dimanche - 2011 ) .
In Febuary 2011, Lull completed the debut album, "Happiness is a Moving Target" ( Forthcoming ), resulting in a genuine folk compilation of songs that each takes on their own expression, relating to each story individually.
Recently based in New York City, Lull will be on tour this summer.
