"Stereo Stickman"

The heavily electronic ambiance of this release results in an unusually colourful yet smooth modern pop-meets-RnB single. The music features layers-upon-layers of synths and sounds and samples, and the same effect comes through with the vocal parts – there’s a definite feeling of togetherness about it all, as if it’s a team effort; a united force underlining a shared passion and concept.
In modern music, the auto tune choice alongside of certain types of reverb is more commonly found in the hip hop world. This track has a fairly mellow, hip hop style beat, and the hook most definitely fits in with that type of vibe – the overall feeling you get from this, however, suggests much more of a melodic, soulful genre.
The word melodic is important – the song is greatly reliant on this smooth movement through the notes; the relationship between the vocal tune and the underlying chord progression. The soulful mood of the writing and the performances can quite easily be imagined in an acoustic setting – the electronic soundscape adds a touch of character and colour that is not always found among such a soulful and passionate display of expression. The strength of the song and its melody means that any setting would work – any type of remix could be as effective in a different kind of way, but the particular layout and approach here means that there’s definitely something unpredictable and quite striking about it all.
This meeting of the organic and electronic is also notable within the instrumentation. When you listen carefully to the opening few moments, there’s a flicker of guitar, a carefully chosen, jazz-like touch of keys, and all-in-all a genuine and real set-up for the song that follows. The possibilities are unlimited when you get the songwriting down in such a way as this.

"Twist Online"

MilitaryHonor (Armon M. Bradley) born March 6, 1989, is a songwriter and aspiring artist born in Bay St. Louis, MS and raised in Pass Christian, MS. MilitaryHonor has been creating music since the age of 15. MilitaryHonor also attended Virginia College in Biloxi, MS where he received an Associates Degree in Business Administration in 2015.
We are sharing our recent interview with him.
Twist Online : First of all tell us about the start of your professional career?
MilitaryHonor : Nothing is easy, and it’s great to know people in different positions. I just took advantage of my network. Nonetheless, it’s a dream come true and an accomplishment for me personally all in one.
Twist Online : Who or what inspired you to get into music industry?
MilitaryHonor : My older cousin actually was a local rapper I always looked up to. I knew how to write poetry and he taught me how to put it into the form of rap. From there I’ve just been trying to get better
and better. Today, I can say that my music is available wherever myself or anyone else’s favorite artist’s music is.
Twist Online : Tell us about your recent release?
MilitaryHonor : My latest release “Good Love” actually just dropped Dec. 18, 2017. While as the title is fairly self-explanatory, I feel it’s an exciting song. That’s my opinion. Everyone will be different, and that’s perfectly fine. Life.
Twist Online : What kind of response have you received from the release?
MilitaryHonor : I’ve got a lot of positive feedback, and that’s cool. Really, I’m looking
for the criticism to further better myself at my craft.
Twist Online : What attracts you more, performing on stage or working in studios?
MilitaryHonor : Hard to say! In the studio, it’s great energy in the chemistry of creating
art. On the other hand, it’s an adrenaline rush to perform in front of fans and
personally engage with them.
Twist Online : Do you need some certain kind of environment for writing a track?
MilitaryHonor :I mean really it depends on the song and my mode at the moment, but i can write
virtually anywhere.
Twist Online : Have you set some target to achieve as a music artist?
MilitaryHonor : Be the best artist that I can be, and provide for mine in the process.
Twist Online : Are you currently working on any other project?
MilitaryHonor : I’m always working on something, but at the moment just mainly focused on pushing
my new single “Good Love” and getting it out there to the masses. - News & Interviews
