M.T.A which stands for "More Than Average", is originally from New Orleans, LA. Music is what keeps her grounded, she listens to all types of Music. It keeps her mellow, calm, and relaxed. "I write Music that people can relate to and use when they need to relax and whin down they can pop in a MTA CD and mellow out!" M.T.A. was apart of the "Slip-N-Slide Records" Artist On The Grind Program, in which she had that experience of working towards a record deal with the label. Also M.T.A. has met many major artist in the Industry from the likes of Monica, Jermaine Dupri, Polo Da Don who loved her demo! M.T.A. also has been around Yung Joc and the lovely Teyana Taylor to name a few. She is a very versatile Artist who has turned down many deals because they wanted to change her whole persona and she stated "If I can't be myself then I don't need it, changing me is taking from everything I've worked so hard for" so M.T.A. strives and works hard to one day make her impact into others lives.
