Shakka is a two time MOBO Award winner, a Platinum selling songwriter (600k sales) and a Gold selling artist (400k sales).
Shakka's recent single "Man Down" has been streamed over 55 million times, clocked up 17.5million youtube views and climbed to #25 in the UK singles charts this summer. Shakka also co-wrote, arguably, the biggest UK single of this summer "Answerphone" (Ella Eyre, Banx & Ranx and Yxng Bane) which peaked at #5 in the UK singles charts.
Shakka has collaborated with a number of talented artists including Aluna George, Mr Eazi, Young Thug, JME, Wretch 32, Wiley, Gorgon City, Lethal B, Rak-Su, Little Mix, Ella Eyre and Yxng Bane to name a few. He has also been booked to perform all over the world from South Korea, Lithuania and Sweden to Austin, Texas in the USA.
Shakka has sold out 6 headline shows in the UK and performed at KOKO (Camden), as well as Shepherds Bush Empire. He had his first headline European & UK tours in 2017 and has just announced his second UK tour for April 2019 (tickets on sale now), following the release of his new single "Sugar Cane", available online now.
