"Explosion of Time"

Born and raised in sunny Santa Barbara, California, Taliesin started playing piano as a 5 year old. After 5 years of classical training, he moved onto guitar and at around the age of 15, being inspired by the great Elliott Smith, he began writing hundreds of songs, recording most of them with an old video camera microphone, editing out the video, adding more layers, but only keeping the audio. Also as the guitarist for a Santa Barbara based rock band "Verna Beware," formed in 2008, on July 4th, 2009, Taliesin released his first full length album produced with a feel completely different than his previous material. Finding inspiration from John Frusciante, Ratatat, Sigur Ros, Jack White, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Daft Punk, Nico Vega and many others, "Explosion of Time" could almost fit as a combination of all of the above. All instrumental, with no lyrics on the entire album, your mind will think and react naturally without being driven by any kind of conscious message. Look for a hard copy release during the summer of 2009, and live shows expected to follow shortly afterwards.
