Rapper, songwriter, and producer Jevaughn “IamVizzle” Johnson from Middleburg FL, by way of Toms River NJ, brings versatility to the music industry. He started at a very early age free-styling over instrumentals and recording rhymes on a cassette tape recorder. Later on in junior high and high school years, he would beat-box and freestyle with others but never looked at making music as a career. Looking up to his older brother, Demetri “Gino” Williams, and seeing how serious he was with making music, he thought he would give it a shot. Once he got in the studio with his brother to see how the magic really happened, he fell in love with making music and that's where the journey began. During his early years of high school he met with friends who had compassion for making music they came together and formed "No Murcy". After doing a few mixtapes with No Murcy and Militia, he was often compared to Twista for his speedy delivery on tracks mainly heard on the group’s first mixtape entitled “L.A”. After experimenting and perfecting his own style of catchy flows and hot punch lines, he later dropped a solo mixtape entitled “SomTroubl$ Tha Mixtape” in December of 2009, which featured a lot of his own production with some assistance from B-Money of No Murcy. Vizzle considers himself a lyricist and not a rapper, and when asked the difference of the two his answer was simply "lyricist tell stories, rappers just make music". After releasing his 2009 mixtape a loyal following wasn't too far behind. Many of his supporters have made it a point to be at every venue, which keeps him motivated to do more. "I do this for my fans" are words that are often spoken by Vizzle "I couldn't do THIS without THEM". Local performances throughout Jacksonville at hot spots like Tera Nova, Brass Monkeys & Xscape Lounge, rocking the college scene at University of North Florida and pit stops to Orlando, Gainesville and other central Florida cities were a must. His main focus is to cater to the masses & be known as a great lyricist & not just a fly by night entertainer.
