I sat and listened to this wonderful artist, every word crafted, every note played creating a perfect balance of soul and spirit, a true gentleman and a fantastic artist. Keep on making music! The world would be poorer for it if you stooped!” - Trajan J. Trathan – Ainigmas Management, UK

“Time and time again, Ian David continues to impress me with his level of talent and dedication to music. He is always pushing himself to improve his music with the fresh tones, meaningful lyrics, and indie vibe that his fans have come to love. Writing about his own experiences, he is relatable and open, inviting listeners to connect with him on a personal level. He has an easy-going, folky style that makes us all want to just chill out and sing along. It is this unique, intimate feel that makes his music such a special experience.” - Tanner Boriack (Producer) – Zamar Studios Houston

“The songs are beautifully written, particularly brought to life by tightness and wit in the lyric, but the real excitement was hearing the incredible arrangements and productions. What could simply exist as acoustic guitars tunes are all expanded into tiny pop epics with simplicity, grace and remarkable skill…from the ukelele building to synth chorus pads and then real deep verbed human choirs on “summer song” to the rousing acoustic stomps and layers of “new face”, these tracks come alive thanks to great imagination and beautiful, succinctly observed storytelling. Stunning!” - Mike White – London, UK

Bio

Racking up over 920,000 youtube views, opening for bands such as “Never Shout Never”, getting featured on Apples iRadio as some of iTunes most popular 2013 summer music, & being featured in an Alternative Press Magazine Ian David wants his music and voice to be heard and wants the message of love shared. Ian grew up in a small town called Tomball right outside of Houston, Tx and started writing music when he was 15 as he says “I started singing when the lead singer in my high school band started teaching me harmonies and he just kept teaching me how to get better”. Ian, only 19, released his debut EP “Love Love” two summers ago and his softmore EP “Pray for Peace” soon after. His first self titled full length comes out at the end of the month (November 2012). Ian plays many different instruments and loves to just create new sounding songs while keeping it very simple and root based to bands like the Beatles and Bob Dylan. Ian, like any other 19 year old, goes through the same things his generation goes through and he wants to share with the other kids what he has gone through and what helped him cope and hopefully the music can help them as much as writing the songs helped him. A music manager in the UK said this about Ian’s music “I sat and listened to this wonderful artist, every word crafted, every note played creating a perfect balance of soul and spirit, a true gentleman and a fantastic artist. Keep on making music! The world would be poorer for it if you stooped!” – Trajan J. Trathan, Ainigmas Management, UK. Ian loves to hear from fans and loves to meet people at shows so come out sometime and see him play!
