Digital Lunatics

Ian Dooner was born Dec 15 1982. At 23 Ian currently lives in Toronto ON. Purchasing his first set of turntables in 2001 Ian quickly realized his lifes calling. Starting as a DJ in Victoria BC, Ian quickly became one of the islands most saught after DJ's. His unique blend of peak hour funky house, speedgarage and funky breaks always keeps a crowd wanting more. With DJ'ing the opportunity to host a club night arose. This proved to be one of the greatest learning experiences in Ian's career. Quickly finding out that there are so many facets to the entertainment industry Ian began to devote a large amount of energy to promoting events in Vancouver and Victoria.

After doing work for companies like Twisted (van) and Digital Lunatics (vic) Ian decided to take a sebatical from the DJ scene and enroll in fanshawe College's Marketing Program. Upon completion Ian still had the itch to return to the music industry. Not nowing how to conect him self proporly Ian enrolled in a private school for music called "The Harris Institute For The Arts". Spending an intesive year leaning the ins and outs of audio engineering Ian quickly enveloped a passion for the Art of production. Now spending time studying song composition and arrangement Ian is at a point where his hard work, sleepless nights and determinitive attitude are about to pay off.

Now in 2006 Ian has teamed up with producer Edward Bind as well as a series of session musicians to create the full length album "Opening Statements". This release will signify the rebirth of the name Digital Lunatics. Thank you for your interest and please check back for updates.
