Ianesco is a rapper and producer from the land of 10,000 bands, Minneapolis. What makes him stand apart from the herds of others? With unique, yet classic production that sounds like the twisted love-child of J Dilla, Aphex Twin, Metro Boomin and Timbaland, Ianesco lays his chiseled words over an exquisitely crafted sonic palette designed to simultaneously move you and take your brain to more otherworldly dimensions. On the microphone, he shape shifts from hardened battle rapper to sad crooner on the drop of a hat and tackles subject matter as diverse as our lives themselves: from relationships, to politics, to mental health and addiction, all while laying out compelling evidence that he is among the most technically gifted emcees currently doing it, with dizzying lyrical displays and razor sharp flow.
