A track named "Angel" can be found on the 105.7 the X Under the Radar compilation cd. It was recorded by Free Kawfee (Ian Heikel-vox acoustic guitar, Jon Howard-electric guitar, Joey Howard-bass bgv, Mark Preston-drums).
"You are Holy" is a track that was written and recorded for the Episcople Church's Mix Music in Christ compilation CD.
The music is about what everyone goes through everyday of their life. If the music isn't relatable and it doesn't conger up your memories (fantastic or frustrating), dreams (attainable or impossible), or emotions (whatever they are), then what is the point? While writting I tend to ask alot of questions in attempt to answer the question of my existance and how I should live. I am blunt and honest, but whimsical and charming. I don't feel required to sing about my faith, but it is a huge part of who I am and who I want to be.
Ian is currently in th studio putting a new full length together. For the time being enjoy the unfinished demo cuts!

At 23 years old, Ian Heikel has written over 50 songs and performed for crowds of one thousand plus with various bands and groups across the country. He has won national song writing contests and recorded in such legendary studios as 3614 Jackson Highway in Alabama (Rolling Stones, Cher, etc.) "Angel", written and performed by him (recorded with Free Kawfee), is part of 105.7 the X Under the Radar vol. 2 compilation.
His music is raw honest rock, equally palatable solo acoustic or full band driven. Ian is armed with a mic and guitar, delivering emotion aimed at your core.
