.For those of you interested in listening to something other than ‘Thriller’ and ‘Monster Mash’ this Halloween, check out Ice Cream Fire (Tim Kelly & Jackie Haydamacha), a pop/hiphop duo out of Los Angeles. It’s okay– change is scary.

Small world…
We really liked your recent write-up on Eion & Kendra. Eion actually produced our EP ‘Burn It Down‘ as well as our new song, “Last of Us” that we released today for Halloween. We hope you dig it.

"Saturday, Jan. 28 head to The Roxy Theatre for ... for buzz bands on the brink The Shakers and Ice Cream Fire." - The Sunset Strip

"Win Tickets: Symphony, 7 Lions and Ice Cream Fire at The Roxy"

Get ready Los Angeles, the rock takeover is coming! Tonight, Symphony leads the way with marching bass kicks, rock cheers (“Hey! hey!”) and sweeping guitars progressions. The buzz band has gained attention for their blending of 80s and 90s rock that would make hair bands sing along, and grunge rockers bob their heads in unison. Opening the night is hip hop and rock group 7 Lions whose recent hit, “Born 2 Run” has been getting heavy play on 102.7 KIIS FM; and Ice Cream Fire, who cross your fingers, might play some of their new material from their upcoming EP release & debut album that combines “clever wordplay, Lady Gaga-esque pop vocals & Foo Fighters level rock riffs” (The Roxy). Catch all of them at The Roxy Theatre tonight! - Thrillcall

"These guys take rock & roll, mix in some R&B, and top it off with a perfect blend of pop. From Los Angeles, Ice Cream Fire features Gaga-esque vocals on top of a Foo Fighters sound. Listen to the song “Lonely Coast” below!" - The Roxy Theatre Blog

"MEET ICE CREAM FIRE: HERE COMES THE WHOLE TEAM, MAKING WAVES THROUGHOUT L.A. (...) What really stood out to me about Ice Cream Fire were two things: 1. They are truly pursuing music as a team, which I am a huge fan of. 2. If I hadn’t heard Ice Cream Fire’s music prior to writing this blog, I would have wondered how a jazz singer could be incorporated into this solid rock band. Wow, Jackie, pretty freaking cool! Friend them! Find them! This band worth following!" - The City of the Lost

"When everyone screams with fiery passion for "Ice Cream" this weekend Sept 10, 2011 this is because Los Angeles is screaming in excitement for the band of the name Ice Cream Fire as they return to West Hollywood 9009 West Sunset Blvd. to hit the Roxy stage with their irresistibly tasty blend of music. Here's what Ice Cream's Tim Kelly shares about a band that owes as much of its flavor to Michael Jackson as it does to the Beatles or Ella Fitzgerald. (...) Lose your illusions because here is your 3rd delicious scoop of Tim Kelly's exciting delicious verbosity ahead of what promises to be a fiery, Roxy performance this Saturday 9/10/11. (...) You know not to scream "fire" in a crowded arena. Well, Saturday night one may hear something like "I scream fire," at the Roxy, but rest assured it is just a crowd of music lovers fired up about 32 flavors and then some of musical dessert from the band "Ice Cream Fire." ICE CREAM FIRE is a male/female Pop Duo featuring a skilled MC & powerful female vocalist. They formed in 2010 when Philadelphia-raised & renowned Jazz singer Jackie Haydamacha began to write songs with MC/spoken-word artist Tim Kelly. Tim & Jackie, a couple since meeting  at Temple University in 2004, began writing songs with then composer Tamon Fujimi & recording in their East Los Angeles home. Beginning as a rock band, Ice Cream Fire evolved more Hip Hop & Electronic elements into their sound, before transitioning into a Pop duo. Together, they rocked shows at legendary venues including The Roxy, Key Club, Viper Room, House of Blues, Belasco, & the Troubadour as well as a headlining spot at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. In 2012, acclaimed horror director Drew Daywalt asked them to make two Irish Drinking Songs ('Johnny Jump Up' & 'Finnegan's Wake') for use in his feature film, "Red Clover". Recording out of Battle Panda Studios in Van Nuys, they released their first EP, "Burn It Down" featuring production from Eion in early 2014. They are currently collaborating with a variety of artists and producers including producers Knite Watch, Alpine, & Mark Lowe on upcoming releases.
