Bio
Ice Pictures is the work of solo artist Matt Blake from Melbourne, Australia. An avid musician since age 12, Matt has been involved in many solo and collaborative recording projects over the last 10 years, but has always done so for the love of the creative process itself rather than the ears and dollars of the mass market. Matt is a confident performer, but has rarely sought gigs for his own material.
With Ice Pictures, Matt's goal is to be heard. His attraction has always been to more serious musical sounds, and after growing up on bands like Radiohead, Tool, Muse and The Tea Party, his music reflects many elements of Alternative Rock, Metal, Electronica/Industrial and grunge.
