Icon Of Destruction's music tends to bring back old school, Göteborgian melodic death metal to the french Metal Scene, alongside a strong vibe of orchestral epicness and catastrophy. With influences such as Dark Tranquillity, At The Gates, Obtenebris, Insomnium or Septicflesh, Icon Of Destructionwishes to convey world ending, dark atmospheres melted in a straightforward, impactful Death.
They performed several live shows in Paris and the nearby area, about twenty between 2013 and 2016. Three videos of the show at Le Divan Du Monde in Paris are available on Youtube.The EP "Earth Spasms" is a five tracks record, and was recorded by the former line-up.
The band is currently recruiting to build up a new line-up for live shows.
As for today, Icon Of Destruction are founder member Antoine Léandri (Guitar, vocals, writing), Luc Ducroc (Keyboards,Vocals) and Gabriel Deloffre (Drums, who also plays for Atavisma and Filthcult).
An album is being created at the moment, with already 13 songs fully written.
